Meet the Team
The SI was in formed June 2023 by NOAA Fisheries’ Science Board and includes scientists from NOAA Fisheries Science Centers around the country including Northeast (NEFSC), Southeast (SEFSC), Southwest (SWFSC), Northwest (NWFSC), Alaska (AFSC), Pacific Islands (PIFSC), and NOAA’s Office of Science and Technology (OST). In July 2026 there was a change in the leadership of the SI, and its membership was revisited and expanded. *Denotes new member brought on in 2026.
